Secure Code Control^®

Verify Brand’s patent pending Product Authentication Solution starts with generating a unique, alphanumeric or numeric secure code that is an infinitesimally small subset of the total pool of possible codes, and then providing these for a product, label, or package printing process at a third party or brand owner’s production facility.  Secure codes are created using a proprietary algorithm, EPCglobal nomenclature, and/or imported from existing sources e.g. UID’s on RFID chips, and then printed or applied using text, various forms of bar codes, proprietary formats, or electronic carriers like RFID.  They can be applied on a product or at any level of packaging and be associated with each other in layers of “parent-child” relationships.  Any type or amount of data can be included and associated with the secure codes, at any point up to product shipment and thereafter.  Secure Code Control® can be deployed at any print location, using multiple types of printing technologies.

Secure Code Procurement

Many brand owners prefer to outsource serialization to their print or RFID vendors.  Secure Code Procurement is a customer-branded, secure e-commerce website to enable authorized contract manufacturing or packaging locations to directly and securely order pre-serialized labels or packaging from authorized print or RFID vendors.  The customer’s Secure Code Procurement site can be monitored and code requests reconciled from contract manufacturers or packaging suppliers with actual product volume.

VeriSure!^®

Brand owners, distributors, retailers and customers can scan or manually submit the product codes, via a central or manufacturer-branded website or call center, to confirm product authenticity and location.  Business rules defined by each brand owner dictate how the application operates and responds to unauthorized events.  “Event” alerts to the verification point and the brand owner are essential.  VeriSure!® can and should be used to provide direction on use of the authentication system and can incorporate event-appropriate brand and marketing messages.

VeriTrack^®

VeriTrack!® is an information utility.  All secure code creation and activiation achieved through Secure Code Control®, as well as all code and other data verification activity via VeriSure!®, is constantly logged, analyzed, monitored and organized into configurable text and graphical reports.  The brand owner can access the VeriTrack!® event repositories via the Internet on an ad hoc basis or reports can be forwarded via email at any interval.  VeriTrack!® can also enable the creation of a chain of custody record, available in real time.  VeriTrack!® and other data inputs are used to support and monitor all activity.  Finally, the information in the VeriTrack!® utility is integrated with ERP and supply chain systems through the Verify Brand ERP Pathway.
